The Lodge is located near the best attractions that Tanzania has to offer, including:
- Marangu Gate, the access point for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
- Safaris in world-famous national parks, including Arusha National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara

Mt. Kilimanjaro View Lodge provides guided/portered treks up Mt. Kilimanjaro ("Kili"). Kili is the most popular (i.e., has the most trekkers visit the mountain) of the "Big Seven," the highest peaks on each of the seven continents. Snow-covered, 19,710-feet-high Kili is a great source of pride in Tanzania separating Tanzania and Kenya. Anyone over the age of 10 can hike to the summit so long as they are in reasonably good physical shape.

Park authorities require that all trekkers arrange their walk through a licensed agency and that they be accompanied throughout their walk by a guide. Our guides know the different routes, where the huts are and can arrange a trek for you, whether five to six days to the summit or a weekend trip to a "half-way" point. Stay in the huts along the way, or camp in tents, depending on the route you take.

The Lodge makes available:
- Transportation to the Marangu Gate or other designated route
- Guiding up the mountain, using many of the predetermined routes
- Porters to carry your gear - food and water

Mt. Kilimanjaro View Lodge consists of 5 private rooms, each of which is styled after a local Chagga tribe hut,and has its own private bathroom with shower. The Lodge also has a restaurant and swimming pool.

The Lodge provides traditional accommodation for those going on safari or hiking and mountain climbing in the area.
